With an unlimited travel card, you can easily and stress-free explore Amsterdam using all of the city’s public transportation networks operated by GVB. 

You can choose a ticket that is valid for a single day or a multi-day ticket depending on your plans. 

You can use your ticket on the metro, trams, buses, and ferries to experience the city like a local. 

To use your ticket, simply collect it from one of the four participating stations, check in when boarding a tram, bus, or metro, and check out when you exit or disembark the vehicle. 

Your ticket will be activated on the first use and can be used for unlimited travel until it expires. 

If you have any questions or issues with your ticket, you can go to one of the designated pick-up locations or call the number provided on your mobile voucher for assistance.

Ticket Prices

You can get a pass for 1 day, 2 day, 3 days going upto 7 days. 

The price of the pass will depend on the number of days chosen.

Things to remember

  • The public transportation chip card can be collected at any of the indicated locations:

    – GVB Service & Tickets Central Station (Monday – Sunday 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM)
    – GVB Station Zuid (Monday – Friday 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM; Saturday – Sunday 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
    – GVB Station Bijlmer Arena (Monday – Friday 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM; Saturday – Sunday 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
    – GVB Station North (Monday – Sunday 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM)

  • Children up to 4 years old travel for free on the public transport system in Amsterdam
  • For children above 4-11 years, there is a 24-hour ticket available. If you need a ticket for children which is valid for more than 24 hours, it is suggested that you buy multiple 24-hour child tickets
  • This ticket does not cover regional trains to and from Amsterdam Schiphol airport
